The Paul Reed Smith John Mayer Signature Model Silver Sky has arrived.

Created through countless rounds of trial and error to embody John’s vision of “a guitar that blends the feel of a vintage guitar with modern aesthetics,” this model is the culmination of his meticulous attention to detail.

It carries on the sound of the vintage guitars manufactured in 1963–64—which John and Paul love so dearly—
and features PRS’s original single-coil pickups—a guitar born from a design concept that sets it apart from past models.

The headstock—a PRS trademark—features a reverse design tailored to his playing style.
By increasing the distance from the nut to the tuners, tuning stability is further enhanced.
The tuning pegs are PRS original pegs featuring the PRS Locking System, despite being traditional vintage-style Kluson types.

The original steel tremolo is set flush against the body at the factory.
By increasing the contact area between the bridge and the body, the body’s natural resonance is enhanced, resulting in a dynamic sound and improved signal-to-noise ratio for the single-coil pickups.

The 635JM pickups are original PRS pickups developed exclusively for the Silver Sky, characterized by a wide dynamic range and a fat, crisp sound.

While there are signs of light use, there is no significant damage, and the guitar maintains a beautiful appearance.
Upon arrival, it was inspected and fully adjusted by a professional technician, and it is in excellent playing condition.

Includes the original gig bag, tremolo arm, 3 wrenches, 1 set of spare tuning peg parts, a sticker, and documentation.
