USED CORNERSTONE / COLOSSEUM [06]

COLOSSEUM is a dual overdrive pedal based on Cornerstone's interpretation of the BluesBreaker and Klon circuits. Each circuit is not a copy of the other.

There is no clipping diode on the BB side. By removing it and tweaking the tone control, we have eliminated the common "problems" that are commonly referred to as classic BB, such as low volume and dark tone. We also added a clean control, which adds a clean sound on top of the overdriven signal for even more tonal versatility. This greatly restores touch sensitivity on picking attack and also restores the bottom end of the original clean sound.

The Klon side remains largely the same, with the exception of the clip blender.

While the Klon uses two 1N34A germanium diodes to great acclaim, the COLOSSEUM adds a pair of carefully selected silicon diodes. This blending feature allows for a wide range of sonic flexibility while utilizing the original sound to bring a whole new flavor of Klon to your feet.

On the back are four jacks for connecting both sides of the pedal to your favorite looper. You can use both sides independently or connect other pedals in between.

A small toggle switch allows you to easily change the order of the two channels for many tonal variations.
There are some signs of use such as scratches and dirt, but there are no operational problems.
