The 2290 P DYNAMIC DIGITAL DELAY is a delay pedal that carries on the legacy of the TC2290, translating its sound, operability, and design into a pedal format. TC Electronic has achieved a sound and design worthy of bearing its name.

Perfectly recreating the sound of the TC2290 was no easy journey. When we opened up the original TC2290 to study its internals, we were surprised to find that it was designed primarily with analog components. In fact, in the late 1980s, “digital” was a buzzword, and any product that used even a small amount of digital functionality in its internals would have “digital” attached to its name. Consequently, TC Electronic decided to emulate these components from scratch using a method far removed from the typical approach to developing digital delay pedals, with the goal of recreating the TC2290’s sound. And finally, the 2290 P DYNAMIC DIGITAL DELAY—infused with the love and passion of TC Electronic’s engineers—was born.

There are signs of use, such as scratches and dirt, but there are currently no operational issues.
