Inside, it’s equipped with two carefully selected NKT275 tubes—the very heart of its superb sound.
The Bias knob controls the input impedance; turning it all the way clockwise lets you enjoy the classic Fuzz Face sound, while setting it lower tightens up the low end slightly and improves its compatibility with a wah pedal.
As you turn the Contour knob clockwise, you can adjust the sound to make the midrange cut through more sharply and increase the gain.
Turning it all the way counterclockwise produces a sound similar to the Fuzz Face.

It delivers a tone with a level of conviction and richness that is incomparable to modern Fuzz Face-style pedals.
