USED GRECO / EG1350 VIOLIN FINISH [06]

We’ve received a used Greco EG Series EG1350 violin.
Featuring a 2-piece curly maple top, the EG1350 model is characterized by a curved top inspired by the shape of a violin. It features a mahogany back and body with a “pancake” construction and a fairly thin maple neck. Although the catalog from that era lists the fingerboard as ebony, it appears to be rosewood.
It is equipped with a GRECO U-4000 pickup. The pickup cover has been removed and is missing.

There is noticeable paint chipping and scratches on the body buckle, a slight gap at the center joint on the back of the body, and a mark on the top of the headstock that appears to be where written text was once erased.
There are numerous dents and scratches, paint is chipped along the binding, and there is a crack in the binding at the neck joint cutaway—overall, this instrument shows significant signs of use.
The frets have been leveled and are flat with a low profile.
