This is a soprano size K100 from Kamaka Ukulele.

Established in 1916, this soprano ukulele is made by KAMAKA, a long-established ukulele maker in Hawaii. This one appears to be made in Japan as identified by the peg bushings, with an all solid Hawaiian koa top/side/back, wooden nut, friction pegs, and lacquer finish.

It shows signs of use (scuffs, playing marks, picking marks, fogging/bitzing of metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

It has been set up (cleaned, strings replaced, neck ironed) upon arrival. The string height is quite high (no clogging), although the neck has been ironed due to rippling on the 4th string side. The fret board is high enough to be playable.

Item rank: B+: Some scratches, but no problems in normal use.

カマカウクレレのソプラノサイズ・K100です。

1916年創業、ハワイの老舗ウクレレメーカー『KAMAKA』のソプラノ・ウクレレ。ペグブッシュから判別すると日本製と思われる一本で、オールソリッドのハワイアンコア・トップ/サイド/バック、木製ナットにフリクション・ペグ、ラッカー仕上げのモデルです。

使用感(スレや弾きスジ、ピッキング痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ビッツ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ネックアイロン)済み、4弦側の波打ちが見られネックアイロンを施したものの弦高はかなり高めになっています(音詰まりはありません)。フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあります。
