60s No. 404 Acrolite 14x5 1960s Metal Snare Drum
Radic’s classic model, the aluminum Acrolite 404 snare drum. Serial number 612024; based on the date stamp inside the shell, it is believed to have been manufactured in 1968.
With its short decay and bright sound, this iconic Radick snare combines a funky, tight tone with a mild, wood-like quality.
The Acrolite is popular for being lightweight and easy to handle.
The 1960s models, in particular, have a thinner coat of paint on the shell, resulting in a more open and mellow sound.
Combined with the brass hoops, this drum delivers a unique, sweet, and fat sound!

The inner mute is original, while some other parts are aftermarket.
Overall, there are some minor scratches, discoloration, rust, and other signs of wear from use, but these do not affect normal use.
