Radik's classic aluminum Acrolite, 404 snare drum.
Serial 612024, date stamp inside the shell indicates it was made in 1968.
Short decay and bright sound, while funky and tight.
This is a typical Raddick snare with a short decay and bright sound, funky and tight, yet mild like wood.

The inner mute is original, and some other parts are non-original.
* The hoop is probably a brass hoop made by Ludwig.

Although there are some scratches and stains, the parts are not so worn out, and the condition is still good enough for a vintage drum.

Acrolite is popular for its light weight and easy handling.
Especially in the 60's, the sound is more open and mild, probably because the paint of the shell is thinner.
The brass hoop also adds a unique sweet fat sound!

シリアル612024、シェル内部のデートスタンプより1968年製のものと思われます。
ショートなディケイと明るいサウンド、ファンキーでタイトながらも
ウッドのようなマイルドさをあわせもつラディックの代表的スネアです。

インナーミュートはオリジナルとなっており、その他一部パーツは非純正となっております。
* フープはおそらくLudwig製のブラスフープになっております。

傷や汚れ等はあるものの、パーツもそれほどくたびれてはおらず、ヴィンテージドラムとしてはまだまだ十分良好なコンディションです。

軽量かつ扱いやすく人気の高いアクロライト。
とりわけ60年代の物はシェルの塗装が薄いのか、よりオープンでマイルドなサウンドです。
ブラスフープも相まって独特な甘いファットなサウンドも加味された1台です！
