Delivering an unparalleled wide-range sound! The ultimate bass drive sound!

As part of FREE THE TONE’s 15th-anniversary project, we launched the “Integrated Series” development project based on the concept of “giving shape to the ideal sound.” Drawing on the wealth of knowledge and experience we have cultivated over the years, as well as our proven technical expertise and artistic sensibility, we carefully selected and integrated every element that makes up an effects pedal.
The second installment of the commemorative "Integrated Series" is the "Bass Drive Pedal."

The "BLACK VEHICLE" features the HTS circuit, newly developed specifically for bass.
The HTS circuit, synonymous with FREE THE TONE products, prevents sound loss, maintains consistent tonal quality when the effect is turned on and off, and sends the input signal to the subsequent circuitry in optimal condition.
It also features newly designed EQ and MIX circuits. The TREBLE and BASS EQ circuits apply only to the drive sound.
The original (dry) sound remains unprocessed and is mixed with the drive sound via the MIX circuit.
These EQ and MIX circuits minimize signal phase shift, ensuring that the sound does not recede even when driven, and achieving a superb drive sound with clear pitch and contour.

There are two types of BOOST functions: "PRE BOOST," which adjusts the volume sent to the overdrive circuit, and "POST BOOST," which adjusts the output volume.
You can create a wide range of sounds, such as increasing the volume without changing the tone when using BOOST, or increasing the amount of distortion without changing the volume.

The "BLACK VEHICLE" produces a pleasant drive sound with sparkling harmonics and smooth sustain, reminiscent of a tube amp being driven.
It truly delivers an amp-like, wide-range sound.
From natural overdrive to intense distortion, experience the full range of sounds that the "BLACK VEHICLE" delivers all in one unit.

FREE THE TONE 創立15 周年プロジェクトとして、私達がこれまでに培った豊富 な知識や経験、そして確かな技術力とセンスを駆使し、エフェクターを構成する全ての要素を選別統合し「理想のサウンドを形にする」というコンセプトの基に 「Integrated Series」の開発プロジェクトはスタートしました。
記念すべき「Integrated Series」第二弾は「ベースドライブペダル」です。

『BLACK VEHICLE』には、今回ベース用として新たに開発したHTS 回路を採用 しました。
FREE THE TONE 製品の代名詞であるHTS 回路は、音痩せを防ぎ、エフェク ターON/OFF 時の音の質感を揃え、入力された信号を最適な状態で後続の回路へと出力 します。
また、新設計のEQ 回路とMIX 回路も搭載されています。TREBLE、BASS のEQ 回路は ドライブサウンドのみに掛かります。
原音(ドライ音)は加工されない状態で、MIX 回路にてドライブサウンドとMIX されます。
このEQ 回路とMIX 回路により、信号の 位相ズレを最小にし、ドライブさせても音が引っ込むことがなく、音程感や音の輪郭 がある極上のドライブサウンドを実現しました。

BOOST 機能は、オーバードライブ回路へ送る音量を調整する「PRE BOOST」と、出力する音量を調整する「POST BOOST」の二種類があります。
BOOST した際に音質 を変えずに音量のみを大きくする、または、音量は変化させずに歪みの量を増やす等、幅広いサウンドメイクが可能です。

『BLACK VEHICLE』は、真空管アンプをドライブさせた様な煌びやかな倍音と、伸びやかなサスティーンを持ち、そして心地よいドライブサウンドを生み出します。
まさに、アンプライクなワイドレンジサウンドを実現しています。
ナチュラルなオーバードライブサウンドから、強烈なディストーションサウンドま で、一台でカバーする『BLACK VEHICLE』のサウンドを是非体感してください。
