USED Fender Japan / JB62-60 VWH (Vintage White) [4.12 kg / Manufactured in 1987]

This is the Fender Japan JB62-60 (manufactured by Fujigen), a 60s-style jazz bass that follows the classic '62 design.

It features a basswood body, a maple neck, a slab-jointed rosewood fingerboard, and is equipped with a JB Single (JAPAN) pickup (*according to catalog specifications), with a 34-inch long scale and 20 frets.

With a look that has developed a distinguished patina over time, this instrument offers the classic Jazz Bass sound that truly shines in an ensemble. It’s highly recommended for beginners and intermediate players alike, and is also a valuable asset for home recording.

The strap pin on the back of the headstock has been removed, and the serial number at the neck joint has been sanded off. There are signs of wear (significant discoloration, dents and paint chips around the perimeter, small scratches and scuff marks, scuffs and wipe marks, picking marks, ring marks on the back of the neck, paint cracks at the joint, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, sticker removal, and ground wire installation), the fret tops are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been tested up to 60 degrees in both directions and is in good working order.
