This is the signature model of Hama Okamoto, one of the most influential bassists active in the contemporary Japanese music scene.Inspired by the 1968 Fender Precision Bass that Hama Okamoto primarily uses, this model was designed with the theme of “an easy-to-play Precision Bass that seems like it should exist but didn’t.” It features a slim, jazz-bass-style neck, vintage-style round paddle pegs, a basswood body with a vibrant finish, and pre-drilled screw holes for the bridge cover—all contributing to a finish that stands out for its originality.

This instrument boasts a high level of craftsmanship, combining the prestige of a signature model with exceptional playability.

Signs of use (such as minor scratches, scuffs, wear marks, wipe marks, picking marks, and tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage) are visible.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment); the frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod has been checked up to 60 degrees in both directions and is in good condition (slightly tight).
