USED FENDER MADE IN JAPAN / Daiki Tsuneta Swinger Maple Fingerboard Vintage White [2.99 kg / Manufactured in 2021]

This model was created by Daiki Tsuneoka—frontman for King Gnu and Millennium Parade—as he pursued his own vision, extensively customizing a Japanese-made Swinger.

Released as a limited-edition model in 2021 to commemorate Fender’s 75th anniversary (this particular unit’s serial number is from 2022), this signature model faithfully recreates a Swinger brimming with originality. It features a 24-inch scale and a basswood body, along with soapbar-style pickups with metal covers—deliberately left unplated at the artist’s request—a custom synchronized tremolo, and locking tuners.

This model is appealing for its compact, easy-to-handle design, striking appearance, and a rich, full-bodied sound. The instrument weighs 2.99 kg.

It shows significant signs of use (including dents, paint chips, and chips around the headstock and across the entire body; peeling paint around the back panel; buckle marks; scuffs, playing scratches, and picking marks; scratches on metal parts; and tarnish or rust on screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted both clockwise and counterclockwise; it has been tested to operate within ±60° and is in good working order.
