USED MUSIC MAN / StingRay EX Black / M [4.94 kg / Manufactured in 1999]

The Sting Ray EX was manufactured at a designated factory in Japan using the same hardware as the Music Man USA model. This is a Music Man Sting Ray EX made in Japan in 1999.

It features a maple neck, a maple veneer fingerboard, a 3-band EQ, a bridge with a serial number engraved on it and a mute, and a 6-point joint plate.

Retaining its striking appearance, this guitar offers the tight, USA-style sound that is its defining charm.

Signs of use are visible (sun fading, paint chips on the end block, dents and scratches around the headstock and along the outer edges, scuffs and wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, discoloration and ring marks on the back of the neck, deterioration of the mute sponge, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts, etc.).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod is completely loose (no tension on the truss rod; rod movement is normal), so there are currently no issues with the neck.
