USED Gibson / 1960s J-45 Original Wine Red [Made in 2023]

A highly popular 60s-style model with no pickups. This is the 1960s J-45 Original from the “Original Collection”—a new addition to the lineup since 2020—manufactured in 2023.

The body is all-solid, featuring a Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back—the classic J-45 specifications. It features scalloped X-bracing and a double-ring rosette.It features an adjustable saddle, and the Gibson-scale mahogany neck has a slightly thinner round profile than the ’50s Original, with a narrower nut width of 1.69” (42.8 mm). Signs of use are visible (including a small dent on the 6th-string side of the body top’s waist, scuffs, wipe marks, picking marks, and tarnish and pitting on metal parts, among other things).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, and action adjustment); the frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening), with operation confirmed up to ±60°.
