USED Sadowsky / Metroline MV5 Left-Handed Natural [4.15 kg]

This is the MV5, a left-handed 5-string active bass from the Sadowsky Metroline series.

The MV5 features the same pickups, preamp, and bridge as the Sadowsky NYC—a model that is now discontinued, much to the regret of many.It features a Dinky-shaped ash body, a maple neck with a maple fingerboard, a quick-release bridge, and Sadowsky Humcancelling J pickups (60s-style placement), along with volume, balance, and stack knobs for treble and bass boost, as well as a passive tone control (pull-to-bypass the preamp).

This guitar is packed with thoughtful details, including outstanding playability, a Dinky shape that fits the hand perfectly, and a classic Sadowsky preamp designed to boost rather than cut—ensuring a flat, optimal sound.

There are signs of use (minor scratches, scuffs, wear marks, playing lines, picking marks, picking marks on the pickup bobbins, tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been verified to function properly within a range of ±60°.
