This model features the “Cherry” shell from DW’s Standard and Collectors Series.
It features a 10-ply HVLT shell, designed to emphasize the mid-to-low frequencies.
In addition to the dark sound characteristic of cherry wood, the HVLT shell gives this snare drum a rich, fat sound with a sense of depth.

Although it has a deep shell, it also possesses the delicacy unique to DW, making it a snare drum that fits a wide range of styles—one that’s distinctive yet versatile enough for all-around use.

It shows signs of use, such as scratches and stains, but is still fully functional.
