A 14x6.5 all-rosewood model made in Japan in the 1990s

This is an all-rosewood snare drum, one of the most popular models among Tama snares from the ’80s and ’90s.
This model, designated RW326 (or RW226), features a 12-ply, 8mm shell and was produced around 1990–1995.
The combination of a slightly thick rosewood shell and brass hoops produces a dark, full-bodied sound with a warm, vibrant attack, resulting in a characteristically very fat and powerful sound.

While there are a few minor scratches, it’s in excellent condition and hasn’t been overused for its age.
For a Japanese-made snare drum from this era, it’s in a condition that allows you to use it with confidence.
