The 1994 “Limited Edition” Santa Fe.

This is the Takamine PSF-94 Santa Fe. It features designs on the soundhole and position marks inspired by “Santa Fe,” a city in New Mexico known for its Native American culture and art. It boasts a solid cedar top, koa sides and back, a striped ebony fingerboard, and an AccurAcoustic EQ preamp (discontinued model; no warranty).

This limited-edition model has garnered significant attention both domestically and internationally. It is a beautiful instrument featuring Native American-inspired wood inlays and “eagle” pattern position marks, and it offers excellent playability and a wide range of tonal variations.

Signs of use are visible (including discoloration, dents in various places on the top, minor scratches and scuffs, wear and playing marks, picking marks, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, and fret leveling). The originally slim fret tops have been leveled to a lower profile but remain at a height that poses no issues for playing. The truss rod is currently loosened (with no tension applied), and the neck is in good condition as is.

Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
