Limited-Edition Snare Drum with Carbon Fiber Laminate on the Inner Surface Only
A popular series featuring Pearl’s proprietary carbon-plated shell.
This limited-edition model was released around the end of 2003.
While standard 6-ply maple shells typically have carbon fiber laminated to both the inner and outer surfaces, this model features carbon fiber laminated only to the inner surface, with the outer surface finished in the Diamond Burst finish that was popular at the time.

It produces a very powerful, resonant sound characteristic of carbon-ply maple, yet because the carbon fiber is laminated only on the inner surface, it has a more open sound than standard models.
It uses the SR-015 switch, which is now discontinued, giving it a spec that captures the essence of Pearl from the 2000s.

It shows general signs of use, but the sound is excellent. It’s still in good enough condition to be played.
