An Istanbul K cymbal manufactured at the Ziljan factory in Turkey between 1953 and 1956,
These cymbals date from the period corresponding to the so-called “Old Stamp 3b.”
These cymbals were produced during a period of transition toward a more modern style, representing a generation that combines the complex, rich tone and practicality unique to Old K cymbals.

Measuring 18 inches and weighing 1508g, this model is an ideal weight for use as a crash or ride cymbal.
It produces a crash with rich overtones and a moderate attack, is practical as a ride cymbal, and features a deep, resonant, and majestic crash sound.

While it shows general signs of age—such as a dull finish, verdigris, slight keyhole wear, and some roughness on the edges—the sound is excellent, and it is perfectly suitable for use as an Old K cymbal.
This vintage K cymbal is still in excellent playing condition.
