The Colour Box V2 retains all the features of the V1 and adds new functions such as expanded EQ controls, a Hi/Lo switch that provides ample headroom, and phantom power for condenser microphones.
The red Gain section consists of three controls: Master, Pre-Vol, and Step.
The Master volume control adjusts the overall volume of the unit.
Pre-Vol controls the gain of the two internal gain stages.
Similar to standard “Drive” or “Gain” controls, increasing the gain produces sounds such as grit, distortion, and fuzz.
The STEP control increases the gain of each preamp stage in five steps.
Turning the STEP knob from left to right increases the gain in the following order: +18 dB, +23 dB, +28 dB, +33 dB, and +39 dB.

Externally, there are scattered minor scratches and dirt from normal use, but there are no operational issues.

赤色のGainセクションはMaster、Pre-Vol、Stepの3つのコントロールで構成されています。
Masterボリュームコントロールはユニット全体のボリュームをコントロールします。
Pre-Volは2つのインターナル・ゲインステージのゲイン量をコントロールします。
一般的な“Drive”や“Gain”コントロールの動作と同様で、ゲインを増加させることでグリットやディストーション、ファズといったサウンドを得られます。
STEPコントロールは、各プリアンプステージのゲインを5段階で増加させます。
STEPノブを左から右に回すことで+18ｄB、+23ｄB、+28ｄB、+33ｄB、+39ｄBの順にゲインが増加します。

外観上、通常使用による小キズ、汚れが点在しておりますが、動作上問題ございません。
