USED Fender JAPAN / TL72-55M/CTL-50M OWH, manufactured 1984–1987 [09]

This model was released in 1984 as the Fender JAPAN “TL72-55.” Inside the neck pocket, there is a stamp for the earlier Squier-branded “CTL-50M.”
The body is made of ash or basswood, the neck and fingerboard are maple, and the serial number is printed on the headstock.

The nut slots have been corrected, and the frets have been leveled. The frets are generally low and flat.
There are scratches and dents on the headstock and the back of the neck; the fingerboard has numerous scratches, with noticeable paint peeling around the 2nd fret, and there is a crack in the finish at the neck joint. The body has numerous scratches, dents, and areas of peeling paint; the body’s finish shows mottled discoloration and fading; the pickguard has playing scratches; and the metal hardware exhibits rust, tarnish, and pitting.
There are other signs of wear and tarnish, but the overall condition is good.
