Made in 1995, this is a high-end custom legend!

The spruce top and Ovation's most distinctive feature, the rounded relaccord body, has a thick deep-bowl design that is advantageous for live sound. The distinctive inlays on the fingerboard, soundhole ring, avalon wrapping around the body, and engraving on the bridge create a gorgeous visual as you can see. The nut width is approximately 43mm, the neck shape is V, and the scale is 641mm, slightly shorter than the long scale, showing Ovation's attention to detail in making the scale longer than other makers.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, and dents. There is a crack on the soundhole ring, but there is no snagging or peeling. There is a picking scratch on the lower right side of the sound hole that looks cloudy. There is a ding on the lower left edge of the body top, the size of a grain of rice. The preamp works, but only the tuner part does not work. This is a common Ovation problem.

The neck condition is fine. The truss rod can be adjusted to loosen and is almost fully tightened. There are no string marks on the frets and about 70% of the strings are left. The current string height is adjusted at about 2.2mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, the tuners do not work, which is common, and the truss rod is tightened up, but playability is currently secured, and there is little use for its age. It would be nice to love it side by side with Adamas.

スプルーストップにオベーションの最大の特徴である丸みを帯びたリラコードボディは、生音で有利な厚みのあるディープボウル仕様。指板の特徴的なインレイ、サウンドホールリング、ボディ周囲を巻いているアバロン、ブリッジには彫刻が施され、ご覧の通り豪華なビジュアルに仕上がっております。ナット幅は約43mm、ネック形状はV、スケールはロングスケールよりやや短い641mm。スケールも他メーカーにない長さにしている事からオベーションのこだわりが垣間見えます。

ボディには拭きキズ、スリキズ、打痕があります。サウンドホールのリングにはクラックがありますが、引掛かかりや剥がれ等はありません。サウンドホール右下にはピッキングキズが曇った感じであります。ボディトップ左下エッジ部部分には米粒大の打痕があります。プリアンプは動作しますが、チューナー部分だけ動作しません。オベーションあるあるです。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは緩める方向に調整可能で、締める方向にほぼ締め切っております。フレットには弦跡等は無く残りは7割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.2mm、1弦側で約2.0mmで調整されております。

全体的には、ありがちなチューナーが動作しないことやトラスロッドが締め切っておりますが、現状プレイアビリティは確保されており、年式の割には使用感は少なめです。アダマスと並べて愛でるのもいいですね。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
