Biwa basses from the late 70's to early 80's in stock!

The FYB-70, nicknamed the "Biwa Bass," was named after Eikichi Yazawa, the first Japanese guitarist to play the FERNANNDES guitar brand, which established an era. The teardrop-shaped body is made of maple, and the neck is also maple. The head logo is the commonly known stone logo. Glover pegs are used for the pegs. Scale is 34 inches, nut width is about 40 mm, and fingerboard R is 7.25 inches. The strap button has been changed to a locking type (strap side parts are missing), and the master tone pot and output jack have been replaced.

There are scratches, scuffs, line scratches, and dents on the body. There are no noticeable damage to the top of the body. The binding around the body has yellowing due to age. Both sides of the neck joint have some whitish spots. There are line scratches on both sides of the body back, and just a few small dents scattered around the body. There is a ding on the back of the neck around strings 4F-8F142. There is a peeling of paint on the upper right part of the head tip, which is the size of a grain of rice. There are scratches on the fingerboard surface from the 15th floor onward, where the tip of a fingernail or pick has hit the surface. Each hardware has some scuffs, but there are no noticeable signs of use.

The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction of tightening or loosening, but less in the direction of tightening. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and there is about 50% remaining. The current string height is adjusted at about 2.5mm on the 12F 4th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, there are some minor signs of use and aging, but the condition is relatively good considering the age. A must have for fans and copy band basses alike!

一時代を築いた日本が誇るギターブランドFERNANNDES 、その記念すべき第一号アーティストである矢沢永吉氏の名を冠した「琵琶ベース」の愛称で知られる FYB-70 。ティアドロップシェイプのボディはメイプルで、ネックもメイプル。ヘッドロゴは通称石ロゴ。ペグにはグローバーが採用されております。スケールは34インチ、ナット幅は約40mm、指板Rは7.25インチ。ストラップボタンはロックタイプに変更(ストラップ側パーツ欠品)、マスタートーン･ポット&アウトプット･ジャックは交換されております。

ボディには拭きキズ、スリキズ、線キズ、打痕があります。ボディトップは拭きキズ程度で目立つダメージはありません。ボディ周りのバインディングには経年変化による黄ばみがあります。ネックジョイントボディ両サイド部分には白濁があります。ボディバック両脇には線キズがあり、ほんの小さな打痕が点在しております。ネック裏4F-8F142弦辺りに打痕があります。ヘッド先端右上部分には米粒大の塗装剥がれがあります。指板面15F以降に爪先やピック先を当てたキズがあります。各ハードウェアにはクスミはありますが目立つ使用感はありません。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能ですが、締める方向には少なめです。フレットには目立つ弦痕等はなく、残り5割程です。現状弦高は12F4弦側で約2.5mm、1弦側で約2.0mmで調整されております。

全体的には軽微な使用感や経年変化はあるものの、年式を考慮すると比較的良好なコンディションです。ファンはもちろん、コピーバンドのベースには必須のアイテムです!

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
