2012 Memphis Factory model with VOS-spec Bigsby!
The serial number of this model is unique and could not be determined from the serial number. However, the prepackaged checklist included in the package will tell you that it was made in 2012.
Also, the Memphis model was sold as a Custom Shop model at this time, but it is different from the Nashville Custom Shop model.

It looks like a 335 at a glance, but it has no center block. 330 is a full hollow model with a laminated maple body and a thick mahogany neck with a 16-fret joint, unlike 335s with 19-fret joints. Black-covered P-90s, double thumb nut on the bridge, and Bigsby B-7s give it a vintage style.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, and stand burn. The pickguard has VOS staging plus picking scratches, but they are natural. the pickguard is VOS spec, but has been polished overall and has a glossy feel with less VOS cloudiness. There are some scratches on the overall surface, but they are not noticeable and can only be seen in the light. There are some minor scratches around the knobs and switches. There are some stand burns on both sides of the body end, but they are only yellowing and there are no dents or stickiness. The back of the body has only minor scratches and the back of the neck is clean. There are minor scratches and weather cracks on the top of the head from the tips of the strings. All hardware is in good condition with no noticeable signs of use.

The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and there is about 80% remaining. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

The neck is based on the '59 style with a thicker neck and 16 frets, which is completely different from the 335, coupled with the lack of a center block. The neck is thicker and has a 16th fret joint. Although it has less body and core, it has the jangly overtones and full hollow tone of a Bigsby, making it perfect for jazz funk in the Grant Green vein. The P-90's emo sound, combined with the drive sound, makes it the perfect counterculture recommendation for those who have been playing 335s up to 1964!
