For customers residing in Japan
A wartime LG-2 with script logos, banners, and decals has arrived!

Although verifying the serial number is difficult, based on its specifications, we have received an LG-2 manufactured during the war, around 1944–1945.
Given that 80 years have passed since its manufacture, this is a rare opportunity to find one on the domestic market.
The gold script logo and banner decal on the headstock, along with the five-piece neck (extra-thick grip) made of Eastern maple and walnut, reflect wartime specifications that utilized substitute materials due to the circumstances of the time.
Additionally, it has been fitted with a Single-Line Kluson Deluxe set (manufactured from late 1956 to around 1964, featuring a single row of three-in-a-row engravings on one side, brass peg posts, significant warping on the 3rd-string tuning knob shaft) have been replaced; however, the flat-head mounting screws (consistent with the era) and the small bushings (a key wartime feature designed to conserve metal) remain intact. (The bridge pins may also have been replaced.)

Points to Note Regarding Age-Related Factors
The texture of the position marks on the sides of the fingerboard and the single marker at the 12th fret suggest that the fingerboard may have been replaced, but it is difficult to determine the specifics or identify any modifications.
There is a history of numerous repairs, including work on the internal body structure (neck and end blocks, center strip, bracing, and ribbing) and crack repairs; however, these were performed to preserve the instrument’s existence and maintain its playability.
As shown in the images, this is a well-worn instrument; however, it still retains the unique, beautiful tone and powerful soundstage characteristic of the 1940s LG-2, a model that tends to be hard to come by.

Repair Details
Replaced the damaged 7th fret position mark (selected and installed a replacement with a similar pattern made from the same material)
Fretboard correction, fret replacement, and new nut fabrication: Jescer (#43080 NS)
Fabrication and replacement of the defective saddle
Adjusted the fit of the truss rod cover

Thanks to these repairs, the instrument has been restored to “Player’s Condition,” offering playability that exceeds its original condition upon arrival.
However, due to the issues mentioned above, this instrument is intended for users familiar with vintage guitars; please consider your purchase carefully.
