1978年頃製造のフランスセルマー・マーク7。約20年間製造されたマーク6からモデルチェンジを果たし、各キィパーツの大型化、管厚・管体設計を見直し、当時サックスに要求された更なるダイナミクスの拡大とパワフルなサウンドへと進化を遂げました。当時のジャズシーンもやはりアコースティックな編成からエレクトリック楽器が普及し始めた時代背景もあり、このマーク7はフュージョン・ロック・クロスオーバーといったミュージックシーンを支えた名器と言えます。全体的に使用キズ、地金からの錆の発生、ラッカーの変色が目立ちます。ベルフレアに曲がり修正痕。管体、ネックに凹み修正痕。U字管に凹み修正痕、細かな凹みが残ります。

A French Selmer Mark 7 manufactured around 1978. Replacing the Mark 6—which had been in production for approximately 20 years—this model featured larger key parts and a redesigned tube wall thickness and body structure, evolving to deliver the expanded dynamics and powerful sound demanded of saxophones at the time.Against the backdrop of the jazz scene at the time—which was transitioning from acoustic ensembles to the growing popularity of electric instruments—this Mark 7 can be considered a legendary instrument that supported the fusion, rock, and crossover music scenes. Overall, there are noticeable signs of wear, rust on the bare metal, and discoloration of the lacquer. There are signs of repair on the bell flare where it was bent. There are signs of repair on dents on the body and neck. There are signs of repair on dents on the U-tube, and minor dents remain.

Not all of the items you purchase from us are in our Shibuya store in Tokyo where we do all of our international communications from.
