Based on Yamaha’s “Acoustic Design” sound analysis process, the body features a chambered construction that achieves both a lightweight body and a sound rich in harmonics with a solid core.The push-pull switch on the tone knob features a “Dry Switch,” which addresses the common drawbacks of standard coil taps—such as volume differences, noise, and a thin tone—delivering a low-noise, bright, and well-balanced sound. The minimal volume variation is a testament to Yamaha’s advanced engineering.
Although this is the entry-level model in the Revstar series, it is packed with Yamaha’s proprietary technology, making it a model we can confidently recommend to beginners or those looking for their next guitar.
While there are slight black stains on the back of the neck, some tarnish on the metal parts, and minor scratches, there are no major or noticeable defects, and the guitar remains in clean condition.
