Based on the brand’s iconic single-cutaway archtop design, this Korean-made model revives the 1930s aesthetics crafted by John D’Angelico for the modern era. Its eye-catching, Art Deco-inspired design—truly characteristic of D’Angelico—includes a scroll-style headstock, full-fret block inlays, Throwback-style F-holes, and a Makassar ebony pickguard featuring a flag design.
The 17-inch-wide, 3-inch-thick fully hollow body features a laminated spruce top and laminated flamed maple sides and back.The three-piece maple/walnut/maple neck is paired with an ebony fingerboard; with a 25.5-inch scale length, 16-inch radius, and medium-jumbo frets, it offers a traditional look combined with modern, user-friendly playability.
It is equipped with a USA Seymour Duncan Johnny Smith Floating Mini-Humbucker pickup. While making the most of the top’s rich resonance, it delivers warm, woody lows and well-defined mids, allowing you to enjoy an elegant jazz tone with the airy quality characteristic of a full-acoustic guitar—from chord chords to mellow leads. The controls feature a simple configuration of one volume and one tone knob, offering a straightforward and easy-to-use setup.
While there are slight signs of use—such as fine scratches, some tarnish on the metal parts, and minor paint drips near the pickguard—the guitar has been cleaned and set up and is in pristine condition.
