The Godin “5th Avenue” Series “CW Kingpin II HB” is now in stock!
It features a Canadian wild cherry body, a silver leaf maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.
The Canadian wild cherry used for the body is lightweight yet produces a sweet, natural tone.
When combined with the silver leaf maple neck, it produces a tone with more depth in the low and mid-range frequencies than traditional archtop guitars, resulting in a dynamic and rich sound.
The cutaway design ensures excellent playability, and the guitar is equipped with two Godin original humbuckers. This delivers a powerful yet warm humbucker sound, making it suitable for a wide range of genres.
There are signs of wear throughout, such as minor scratches and dents.
Signs of aging, such as rust and tarnish, are visible on the metal parts.
There are signs of binding repair on the waist of the body back.
There is paint peeling at the tip of the headstock, and dents on the fingerboard.
The truss rod is fully tightened, and the neck shows slight warping on the first-string side; this has been adjusted by refretting.
Currently, there are no buzzing or muffled sounds, and it is suitable for normal use.
