USED Sound Trade / JB Type Fretless Natural [11]

This JB-type fretless model made by SOUND TRADE evokes the Japanese handmade scene of the early 90s.
The natural gloss finish ash body is combined with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard, giving it a distinctive material feel.
The fingerboard is fretless with no position marks and only lines, making it both visible and easy to play. Combined with the acrylic pickguard, it has a unique look.

The pickups are vinyl wire type with SOUND TRADE logo.
The clear and sharp rise and fretless mid-low range are impressive, and expressive sound can be obtained both by fingerpicking and slide playing.
The bridge is a BADASS BASS II.
The body weighs approximately 5.37 kg, which is quite heavy weight, and the center of gravity when holding the instrument is also closer to the body side, indicating that the ash wood is packed tightly in the body.
This is a good impression for those who value the sustain and core strength of the sound.

Inside the battery box, there is a signature "1990.7.16 B.T.L UMEDA", which shows the history of the production and adjustment period as well as the workshop.
The output jack was originally placed on the side of the body, but it has been changed to the top side of the body.
The plate remains in the original jack position, and the hole has not been filled in.
There are scratches, dents, and scuffs.
Metal parts are rusted and dulled with age.
The back of the head has some seal burns and polishing marks on the painted surface, which may cause bumps and uneven coloring.
There is no noticeable abnormality on the neck, and there are no problems with the playing condition.
