USED Greco / THE V Type [11]

A Flying V replica model bearing the name "THE V," which was available for only a very short time in the early 1980s.
Made in 1981.
It is considered part of a rare series that does not appear clearly in catalogs from that era, and this particular instrument is scarce on the market.

Based on the V-shape reminiscent of the rare Gibson THE V model produced during the brief period from 1981 to 1984, it features a top that evokes a flame finish and a look with binding.
There are also numerous design elements that differ from standard specifications, such as the 1-volume/2-tone control layout. Given these features, it is highly likely that this guitar was produced as a special edition distinct from the regular line of that era.

It features a set-neck construction, which, combined with its lightweight design (approximately 3.18 kg), offers both excellent playability and balance. It is equipped with two original humbucker pickups, and the stamp date of February 11, 1981, confirms consistency with the year of manufacture.

Although documentation for this model is scarce, this particular instrument is consistent in both specifications and age, making it an attractive addition to any collection.
A crack in the wood was observed near the lower part of the control cavity on the body edge, so it has been glued. The glue has not fully bonded, and a step remains.
Overall, there are scratches, dents, and rust on the metal parts, showing signs of use. There is a scratch on the headstock.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
