For customers residing in Japan
The "PT-209" is a Japanese-made electro-acoustic model that epitomized Takamine in the late 1990s.
Featuring a dreadnought cutaway body and a GRAPH-EX preamp, this highly versatile instrument is ideal for a wide range of applications, from live performances to home recording.
There is a sticker on the back of the preamp labeled “No.98 010519,” which suggests it was manufactured around 1998.

Featuring a spruce top and nato sides and back, it offers crisp midrange and a well-balanced sound. The cutaway design allows for smooth playing up to the higher frets, and thanks to Takamine’s signature easy-to-handle piezo sound and the GRAPH-EX preamp, it delivers a stable sound when connected to an amplifier. This is a practical model, typical of Japanese-made electro-acoustic guitars, ideal for singer-songwriter performances and live shows.
The pickguard is misaligned.
There are scattered scratches and dents, and the guitar shows some signs of wear.
The neck shows signs of lifting, twisting, and warping.
We are currently adjusting this by leveling the frets. The remaining fret height is low, and if further adjustments are needed in the future, a refret involving fingerboard correction will be necessary.
