From Ibanez’s flagship J.Custom series, a 7-string model featuring an eye-catching vivid Sodalite finish.

Combining an AAA flamed maple top with an African mahogany body, it delivers rich mid-low frequencies and excellent response. The neck features the RG j.custom Wizard-7 neck, crafted from 5-piece maple and wenge, boasting high playability that feels effortless despite being a 7-string. As a 2018 model, it also features a Selected Rosewood fingerboard adorned with Tree of Life inlays.

It is equipped with DiMarzio PAF 7 pickups. These combine vintage-like warmth with clear bass tones, handling a wide range from clean to high-gain sounds. Furthermore, the Edge-Zero 7 tremolo and ZPS3 system ensure high tuning stability even during aggressive whammy bar use.

The meticulous fret edge finishing and smooth neck feel provided by the Velvetouch finish—hallmarks of J.Custom—are major highlights. This Japanese-made high-end 7-string guitar embodies Ibanez’s technical expertise in every aspect: playability, sound, and appearance.
