This eye-catching instrument features an African mahogany body combined with poplar burl and bird’s-eye maple for a striking appearance. The low-gloss finish accentuates the three-dimensional depth of the grain, giving it a presence reminiscent of a “Dragon Eye,” as the model name suggests.

The neck features an Atlas-5 15-piece construction combining Panga Panga, maple, padauk, purpleheart, and walnut. Reinforced with a KTS titanium rod, it delivers exceptional rigidity and stability. It also boasts a host of features designed to enhance playability, including a roasted bird’s-eye maple fingerboard, stainless steel frets, and Premium fret-edge treatment.

It is equipped with two Nordstrand Big Single pickups. Offering the clear attack and wide dynamic range characteristic of single-coil pickups, they accommodate a wide range of playing styles, from slap to fingerstyle. The combination of the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ, active/passive switch, and mid-frequency selector allows for versatile sound shaping.

Despite its 34-inch scale, the slim body shape characteristic of the SR series ensures excellent playability. This model achieves a high level of balance between the powerful low end expected of a 5-string bass and comfortable playability.
The strap pins have been replaced with Fender-style pins.
There are some minor scratches and dents, but no particularly noticeable damage.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
