The Bacchus 5-string bass features a beautiful burl poplar top and a practical active circuit.

The Bacchus WL5-BP-AC/M inherits the design philosophy of the high-end WOODLINE series while offering exceptional value for the price.

The body top features burl poplar, known for its intricate, three-dimensional grain pattern. Combined with the KRB-BS-MH (Stream Blue Burst Satin) finish, this creates a striking look where each instrument has its own unique character.

The body is crafted from Nyatoh, while the neck and fingerboard are made of maple. Despite its 34-inch scale and 5-string configuration, it is easy to handle, and its excellent playability—thanks to the WOODLINE-inspired “Dinky” shape—is another key attraction.

It is equipped with an original JB-type pickup and a 2-band EQ powered by the BBP2 preamp. It also features an active/passive switch, allowing for a wide range of tones—from natural jazz bass sounds to powerful slap sounds. Furthermore, the use of a brass saddle and brass neck plate ensures rich sustain and a stable tone.

This 5-string bass offers an excellent balance of looks, playability, and sound, making it versatile enough to excel across a wide range of genres.
