Featuring a Sitka spruce top paired with mahogany sides and back, this vintage Martin offers the clear, resonant sound unique to the D-18. It features non-scalloped X-bracing, typical of the 1970s, and is versatile enough to handle everything from powerful strumming to delicate fingerstyle playing.

This is a guitar that lets you enjoy the unique presence of a Martin that has stood the test of time for over half a century, along with the straight, powerful sound of a mahogany body. This D-18 is highly recommended for anyone who wants to use a vintage Martin in actual performances.
We have performed maintenance to optimize playability, including fingerboard leveling, refretting with Jescar 43080 frets, nut replacement, and saddle action adjustment. The width of the replaced nut is approximately 42 mm.

In addition, we’ve performed various repairs to address age-related wear, including fixing a Martin crack, crafting and installing a new pickguard, and reattaching one area of detached back bracing and one area of detached binding.

While there are some minor scratches, dents, and age-related changes in the finish’s texture, there are no major or conspicuous defects, and considering its age, it is in relatively good condition.

There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and the instrument is in good playing condition.
