USED Fender Japan / JG66 Old Candy Apple Red [11]

The Fender Japan Jaguar “JG66” has arrived!
Based on the “Made in Japan” mark and the “09.5.28” stamp on the T-serial number and neck pocket, this guitar is believed to be a 2009 model produced by Dyna Gakki.
This Jaguar model features a unique control system, two single-coil pickups, and a 22-fret short-scale neck.
It features an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
The body is finished in Old Candy Apple Red and features a matching headstock.

The guitar has been modified and had parts replaced by the previous owner.
・Pickguard: Replaced from white to a black 3-ply pickguard.
(It was custom-made and installed to match the screw holes of the original pickguard; the screw hole positions have not been altered.)
・Pickups: Replaced with a Seymour Duncan “SJAG-1n” in the front and a Seymour Duncan “SJAG-1b” in the rear.
・Conductive paint has been applied inside the control and pickup cavities to reduce noise.

With the pickup replacements and noise-reduction measures, this is a charming guitar that has been finished with a more practical setup!
While there are signs of use such as minor scratches and dents, there is no major damage, and it is in relatively good condition.
Signs of aging, such as rust and tarnish, are visible on the metal parts.
Since the pickguard has been replaced with a 3-ply version, it is thicker than the control panel, resulting in a slight difference in height.
The neck shows no noticeable abnormalities and is in good playing condition.

* The pull tab on one side of the case’s zipper is missing, leaving only the metal hardware.
