The EVH Wolfgang Special features an archtop basswood body paired with a bolt-on quarter-sawn maple neck. Its direct-mounted custom humbucker delivers fast response and a sound that balances richness with clarity, making it easy to maintain tone separation even at high gain levels. The compound-radius fingerboard ensures smooth playability, from low-position chord work to technical playing in the high registers.In addition to the Floyd Rose tremolo, it features a D-Tuna, offering excellent tuning stability and the practicality of instant switching to Drop D tuning. Despite its simple control layout, it’s easy to handle and delivers solid performance in both live and recording settings.
There is some slight discoloration on the fingerboard due to normal wear and use.
Although there are some minor scratches, it is in relatively good condition.
The neck is in good condition, and the instrument plays well.
