USED Epiphone / Tak Matsumoto DC Custom Ebony [11]

This model was introduced as the signature model of B'z guitarist Takahiro Matsumoto.
This is one of the reissued limited-edition models originally produced in 2014.

It features an asymmetrical double cutaway design with a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard. Characterized by a luxurious look reminiscent of a Les Paul Custom—combining a black body with gold hardware and split diamond inlays on the headstock—this guitar exudes sophistication. It features a set neck with a deep-joint construction and 22 frets, designed to facilitate easy access to the higher frets.

It is equipped with Gibson USA Burstbucker 2 and Burstbucker 3 pickups. The combination of humbuckers with distinct characteristics in the front and rear positions allows for a wide range of tones, from clean to heavy drive sounds. The simple control layout—featuring two volume controls, one tone control, and a three-way selector—enables intuitive operation.

In addition to the unique character of Takahiro Matsumoto’s signature model, this guitar features meticulously selected specifications, such as an ebony fingerboard and Gibson USA pickups.
There is a crack inside one of the knobs.
While there are no particularly large or noticeable scratches on the body or neck, there are numerous scuffs overall. The area around the picking position is especially heavily marked. There is a small dent around the endpin. The finish shows some slight tarnish.
There is some slight plating wear on the tailpiece.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
