The Yamaha A Series of electro-acoustic guitars is designed to adapt to a variety of lifestyles and deliver ideal performance. It features the new "SRT2" pickup system, which allows the guitar to produce its natural acoustic sound even when connected to a PA system.

It incorporates specifications designed to deliver a powerful and expressive sound, including a neck back finish and edge processing that ensure excellent playability, as well as newly designed scalloped bracing.

The "AC5M ARE" features a slim folk cutaway body with a Sitka spruce top treated with Yamaha’s proprietary "A.R.E. processing" to achieve a rich resonance that sounds as if it has been played for years, even though it is brand new. The back and sides are made of solid mahogany, and the SRT2 pickup delivers a dynamic, warm tone.

It produces a warm, natural acoustic sound with a spacious resonance, reminiscent of a recording made with vintage microphones in a studio.
As the flagship model of the A Series, the luxurious head binding and tuning pegs feature precise, reliable specifications designed to meet the demands of professional guitarists, and the high-quality "Made in Japan" finish delivers the high-level performance required by players on stage.
