USED Gibson Custom Shop / Murphy Lab 1954 Les Paul Standard Light Aged All Double Gold [12]

We have a used all-gold 1954 Les Paul in stock, ordered with off-catalog specs!
This model is based on the 1954 specifications of the Les Paul, which has undergone numerous specification changes since its introduction in 1952, and has been given a realistic aging process by Murphy Labs.

This model is finished in gold not only on the body top, but also on the head back, neck grip, and body sides and back, reproducing the specifications that were produced in small numbers from 1952 as an off-catalog order model in 2023.

The neck shape is Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape, which is slightly slimmer and easier to play than the conventional 1954 Les Paul Standard Reissue.

The P-90 pickups, which are single coils but have a big presence, and the wrap-around bridge, which transmits the string vibration more directly to the body, produce a rugged and resilient sound that is the real appeal of Les Pauls of this era.

Currently, the Murphy Lab Collection 1954 Les Paul is only available in heavy aged gold top, and the light aged, vintage lower logo, all gold finish is only available in pre-owned condition.

Scattered weather checks and numerous dings from the light-aged finish, and the hardware is dull, but shows little signs of actual use.
The strings have been replaced and cleaned in the store, and playability is excellent.
