USED Greco / PB-580N Natural [12]

We’ve received a shipment of Matsumoku’s Greco PB-type guitars.
The PB model was released by Greco in the 1970s, a period when various domestic instrument manufacturers were actively producing replica models of overseas brands.

Based on the serial number, it was manufactured in 1976, and as indicated by the engraving on the joint plate, it was made by Matsumoku, a company that handled production for numerous domestic brands.

The heavy, three-piece maple body produces a warm yet punchy sound.
The large metal knobs also add a distinctive touch.
The neck shows signs of warping, and the frets in the higher positions are quite low; replacing them should be considered during the next repair.
The plating on the knobs has peeled off, and there are burn marks on the tip of the headstock.
Overall, there are scattered minor scratches, dents, and stains consistent with its age, and the hardware has a dull finish.
Although it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
