A 1989 Sabre Bass has arrived.
The “Sabre Bass” debuted shortly after the success of the StingRay. It can be described as “another answer” that strongly retains the DNA of the Leo Fender design era. Featuring the classic ash body and maple neck configuration, it is equipped with two large humbuckers. The combination of a 3-band EQ and a 5-way selector switch allows for versatile sound shaping.
Overall, the finish shows signs of discoloration, dulling, dents, peeling, and weather checking. The metal parts are tarnished; the bridge and control plate have polishing marks; the pickup covers are warped; and the pickguard has repair marks.
The frets have been dressed and have about 70% of their original height remaining; the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
