USED EVH / Striped 78 Eruption Relic White with Black Stripes [12]

A recreation of the iconic guitar used in the performance of the classic song "Eruption."
This model recreates the guitar—featuring a white body with black stripes—that Eddie Van Halen is holding on the cover of VAN HALEN’s debut album, *VAN HALEN* (Japanese title: *The Fuse of Fire*).

This iconic guitar was customized numerous times by Eddie himself, driven by his relentless commitment to playability and his spirit of exploration; it is known as the “Eruption” because it was used to perform the unprecedented and groundbreaking guitar solo of the same name.

It features a basswood body with white and black striped paint, a quarter-sawn maple neck and fingerboard with 22 frets—characterized by its large headstock—and is equipped with a brass nut and jumbo frets.

It is packed with Eddie’s signature touches, such as the volume knob labeled “TONE,” a design later adopted for MUSICMAN’s signature models.
While it does have the original "relic" finish—including fine scratches, numerous dents, peeling paint, and tarnished hardware—it shows very little actual wear from use.
It has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent. st
