USED Ibanez / TS-808 Tube Screamer RC4558P MALAYSIA [12]

Introduced in 1979 as the original Tube Screamer, this is Ibanez’s iconic vintage overdrive pedal.
This particular unit possesses the unique charm characteristic of the R-Mark era, dating back to 1980. It features an MP-D01201A circuit board equipped with an RC4558P MALAYSIA op-amp and the early-spec DC jack nut. Its smooth, warm overdrive tone and rich midrange continue to captivate countless blues players, making it a legendary pedal that enjoys immense popularity as the holy grail of blues guitarists.
While it shows signs of use commensurate with its age, it functions perfectly. There are scratches, paint chips, and tarnish on the metal parts. The battery snap has been replaced, and the DC jack nut is missing. Additionally, there is warping and cracking around the screw holes on the enclosure. Although this is a common issue, the battery cover no longer closes due to age-related deterioration, so it is currently secured with tape.This unit retains its practicality as a vintage TS-808.
