USED Paul Reed Smith (PRS) / CE24 Satin, Manufactured in 2015, Peacock Blue or Faded Grey Black [12]

The CE24, released as a Japan-exclusive model with an alder back and satin finish, has arrived. Although the CE was discontinued in 2008, it made a long-awaited comeback at the 2016 Winter NAMM Show.

It features a bolt-on neck with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. While the body has a maple top, the back is made of alder instead of mahogany, and it features a satin finish with nitrocellulose lacquer.

Equipped with 85/15 pickups, the sound is slightly more subdued and clean compared to the mahogany-body version, but the “single-coil tone” stands out even more when coil-tapped, making this a highly recommended addition to your collection of PRS variations.
The serial number on the back of the headstock is fading, and the body top has faded to the point where it is difficult to determine its original color.
While traces of blue remain in some areas, suggesting it was originally Peacock Blue, it’s also possible that the Faded Gray Black finish has discolored.
There is paint peeling on a portion of the body top, and numerous scratches and dents are scattered throughout the instrument; the metal parts also show signs of tarnish.
Although it originally had a matte finish, there is a sheen from wear on the neck grip and parts of the body back.
The tremolo arm is missing, and while there are signs of wear, the instrument has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is good.
