USED Fender / American Vintage II '66 Jazzmaster Dakota Red [12]

A used Jazzmaster that faithfully reproduces the specifications of the 1966 model has arrived.
The American Vintage II series is designed to capture the original specifications, faithfully recreating the specifications from the time of its initial release as closely as possible.

This model reproduces the specifications from 1965 onward, following Fender’s acquisition by CBS, and features neck binding and block position marks that enhance its premium look.

It features the “Pure Vintage ’66 Jazzmaster” pickups, which are reproductions of the original gray-bobbin pickups, and faithfully reproduces Jazzmaster-specific features such as the neck shape, preset switch, and floating tremolo.

The matching headstock in Dakota Red—a custom color from that era—is another feature sure to delight fans.
Although the metal part at the back of the tremolo arm socket is damaged, it does not interfere with the arm’s secure attachment or functionality.
There is a small paint chip on the body top, and there are scattered fine scratches and dents throughout the instrument.
Although it shows some signs of use, it has been fully maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
The hard case is missing; a generic gig bag is included instead.
