The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Tak Matsumoto 1955 Les Paul Standard is a signature model based on a 1955 Les Paul Goldtop.
This authentic model recreates the golden-era Les Paul with modern craftsmanship; its mahogany body and maple top construction, featuring a long tenon joint, delivers a rich tone and excellent sustain.
Equipped with authentic features such as CTS pots and ’50s-style wiring, it handles a wide range of sounds, from a thick, lustrous tone to clear, cutting lead tones. The direct resonance produced by the wrap-around bridge is another appealing feature.
Boasting a high level of craftsmanship in both appearance and sound, this is a superb instrument that combines practicality with collectible value.

* The pickups have been replaced with Gibson 57 Classic models.
There are dents accompanied by paint cracks near the strap pin on the side of the body, and there are scuffs near the headstock logo.
The parts show some tarnish and minor rust, and there are overall scratches and small dents.
One of the Faster handles on the included case is missing.
