Fender Jazz Bass made between 1975 and 1976 is now in stock!

The Fender JAZZ BASS was introduced in 1960 and is still the pinnacle of electric basses today.

The black body with weather checks is probably made of ash, the maple neck with binding, the maple fingerboard with block inlays, and the head which is discolored as if it had been burnt by ageing. The body is quite matte, but we cannot be certain that it has not been refinished.

The body date suggests that it was probably made in 1975, and the POT serial number is 73. The front PU has been rewound and the assembly has some soldering marks, indicating that it has been used at the forefront of the modern era.

The sound is very crisp and clear, and you can feel the comfortable sound pressure that embodies the essence of a jazz bass. The middle range with thick presence of ash body is a taste that only vintage basses can produce. Finger, pick, slap, or any position, no matter how you play it, you can reach the sound that bassists have been pursuing.
The frets are a little low, but the neck condition is fine and the truss rod works well. The pickups are in excellent playing condition, with the front pickups reading in the mid 7s and the rears in the low 6s.

This vintage jazz bass is sure to be an immediate asset! This is a great opportunity to buy one!

1975～1976年製、JAZZ BASSが入荷いたしました！

1960年に登場し、現代においてもエレキベースの頂点とも言えるFender JAZZ BASS。今回入荷したのはその1970年代中盤に制作された個体になります。

ウェザーチェックが目を引くブラックボディはおそらくアッシュ材、バインディングのあるメイプルネックにブロックインレイが施されたメイプル指板、経年変化により焼けたように変色したヘッドなどロマンあふれるマテリアルで構成されております。かなりマットな質感のボディですが、断定はできませんがリフィニッシュ等は行っていないものと思われます。

ボディデイトからおそらく1975年製ではないかと推察されます。POTシリアルは73年。フロントPUはリワウンド、アッセンブリははんだ付けされた痕がそれぞれ見られ、現代においても第一線で使用されてきたことが伺えます。

サウンドは非常にキレ、抜けが良くジャズベースとしての本質を具現化したような心地よい音圧を感じられます。アッシュボディらしい分厚く存在感のあるミドルレンジはヴィンテージにしか出せない味と言えるものでしょう。フィンガー、ピック、スラップ、弾き方もポジションももちろん問わず、どこをどう弾いてもベーシストが追求し続けるサウンドに手が届きます。
フレットは少し低めですがネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドの効きも良好。ピックアップの抵抗値もフロントが7中盤、リアが6後半を計測するなどプレイコンディションも抜群です。
