For customers residing in Japan
We are pleased to announce the arrival of a Jazz Bass made in 1975.
Ash body, 1PC maple neck, block inlays, binding, and CBS logo give it a "70s" look. The back panel has a nylon cushion with a 4-point fastening. The weather checks on the front and back of the body, rust on the parts, peeling inlays, and cracks in the binding all show signs of use and age, but the dignity of the instrument is breathtaking.

The sound is not as crisp as it looks. However, the low tone and trebly treble are very clear and sharp. The frets are worn but not so much that they need to be re-done right now, and the neck side has some binding and paint peeling, but none of this is a problem for playability. The neck side also shows some binding and paint peeling, but none of this is a problem for playability.

The serial number is 551885 and the neck date is 0203-0451. (02=Jazz Bass 03=Maple 1pc neck 04=4th week 5=Made in 75 1=Monday) You can see two "02" areas, as if it was pressed twice. Pot date is "1377438" for front, "137743?" for rear, and "1377433" for tone. (137 = made by CTS, 74 = made in 1974, 3◯ = 3◯ week), front PU is probably "75?75" (7 = maker number 5? = 5? week, 75 = made in 1975), rear PU is "85874" (8 = maker number 58 = 58 week, 74 = made in 1974). The rear PU had been replaced by a Seymour Duncan, but the original PU was rewound and re-installed at the repair studio. The serial number is a mixture of '74 and '75, but we have confirmed that it was made in the latter half of '75, so we have assumed it was made in 1975.

The price of the 70's has not stopped rising in recent years, and there should not be many pieces in excellent playing condition! Please take advantage of this opportunity to purchase one.

Please take advantage of this opportunity to purchase one of these instruments. Please note that this item can only be tried out and sold at the Ochanomizu main store.
One of the front PU screws is damaged.
Bridge cover and PU cover are missing.
Case fittings are broken. (Other case is recommended for transportation.)
The lower left screw on the front left side of the back panel is not engaged.
Saddle replacement (probably original one included).
